Event triggering This webpage is intended to facilitate exchange of audio-visual programming between television broadcasters and distributors, where such programming contains accurate metadata for program events to enable novel business models. Leading for this mission is the ‘Event Triggering Distribution Specification', a joint effort of SBS Broadcasting and RTL Netherlands. Both believe that harmonisation of the methodology in that document across Europe is desirable. The authors of this document are open to feedback from stakeholders and to updating the document based on such feedback. This webpage is used as a publicly available source where the most recent versions of the specification can be found. The documents are available as an example for other broadcasters and distributors that want to use the same technology. Discussions about this subject can be found in the Google group ‘Event Triggering' which can be found here . For access to the discussion group or comments about the specification, please send an e-mail to Richard van Everdingen (richard[at]delta-sigma-consultancy.nl).  SBS Event Triggering Distribution Specification (V 2016 12-14) RTL Event Triggering Distribution Specification (V 2016 12-14) SCTE-35 2016 SCTE 104 2015
